Tips To Create a Website

Creating your own website is alot useful for you in number of purpose, either you are sharing you experiences on a certain topic, create an online business, promting your community, or just making your online activity journal. Also if you make a website you can access your content from any pc connected to internet, plus you will able to share your ideas and experience in large numbers of people from over all the world.

The Best and easiest way to create your own website is to use Online Site Builder . These Webmaster tools often provide user friendly interface for adding web content like images, text, links etc. These Webmaster tools are designed on WYSIWIG web design platform, which means "What You See is What You Get" . Which means what interface you create is what your visiters will see.

If you want more options and functionality on your website, as well as your own dedicated web address, you'll need to create pages in HTML, register a web domain, and get a web hosting server to upload your pages to. Web domains can be registered at any number of registrars — Godaddy.com is a popular one. Search for "hosting" or "cheap hosting" to find many thousands of available hosting companies. As a general rule of thumb, if you're paying more than about $10 US dollars (USD) per month for hosting for a low-traffic website, you're paying way too much. Many companies offer space for even less.

To create HTML, you need a Notepad or you can use WYSIWIG Webmaster tool. Html is an easy language to learn, you can learn basic HTML in less than an hour start create you own web pages.

After creating your web page, you must upload them to a server. Your host will provide you a Login ID and Password when you register with them. You can use this in an FTP Program to connect your computer with server, when connected to server upload the web pages you have created. Once your web page is uploaded it will be visible on world wide web with in few days the incoming links in your website will be indexed by search engines and your web page will begin to appear on search results.

If you have any queries you can post it in the comment section. Thanks

[HOW TO]Hide partitions without using any software

One method of protecting our files in our computer is by hiding a particular drive. In this way other users cannot access the drive thus making the files in it inaccessible. Here is an easy method on how you can hide a drive/disk partition in Windows without any use of software.

Just follow these simple instruction to hide a drive in Windows

Go to Run > type “diskpart

A window will appear on the screen, type ” list volume” and then press ENTER.

The list of hard drive partition and it’s detail will be shown.

We will then choose a particular hard drive to hide. Let say we want to hide drive “D”.
Type “select volume d

After selecting the hard drive, we can now hide it by typing “remove letter d

You could check it in your computer that drive “D” is already removed and hidden. If we want to bring back the hidden drive just go back to diskpart and instead of typing “remove letter D”, you must now type “assign letter D” and hit ENTER

Drive d will now be restored and will show on your computer.

Speed Up Pc Computer Using Windows Tweak | Ram Memory tweak

How to Speed up your PC by this simple Ram Memory tweak

Well this E Learning Tutorial or in other terms a Windows Tweak for the Techs. So… Faster Computer, first of all why a Faster Pc Performance?? Well its not a question of a Faster PC but this is more a question of when. If you’ve been running heavy Software Programs (maybe 3d video game, Photoshop, something like that) the RAM can get taken up quickly. Even when you close down these Computer Programs, Ram Memory can still be eaten-up.

You’ll notice this effect at the end of the day. When you first turn on your PC it’s running smoothly, by the end of the day slows down. Yes, you can get various Software Applications to solve this. May of which costs but when free things matters, here is how a simple Windows Tweak can work (in both XP and Vista)

Faster Computer

1. Open up Windows Notepad (I use Notepad++, review coming soon)

2. Type in MYSTRING=(80000000)

3. Save the file as MEMORY.VBE (or RAM.VBE if you like…just remember the .VBE)

4. Make sure you save the file to your DESKTOP.

5. Just double-click the newly created file on your desktop whenever your PC seems to slow down. It will give your RAM a much needed Boost.

Not that if you have less than Ram Memory 128mb (do you really? If so then Oh! wake up you need a Memory Upgrade. (Ram Upgrading will make your PC a lot faster) change the 80000000 to 160000000 and it should work the same.

RAM Defrag is nice Freeware Software utility that frees up your RAM however it clears of all the injected DLL’s and the Cache so the Computer may get more sluggish for a while a Defrag.

Liked the Trick, I hope you wont mind in wasting 20 seconds and writing me a comment below. Thanks for that !

How To Speed Up U Torrent

Torrent is a small file (around few kilobytes) with the suffix .torrent, which contains all the information needed to download a file the torrent was made for. That means it contains file names, their sizes, where to download from and so on. You can get torrents for almost anything on lots of web sites and torrent search engines.

Downloading with a torrent is advantageous especially when downloading files, which are momentarily very popular and whitch lots of people are downloading. Because the more people download the file, the higher speed for everyone.

There are different categories of torrents available on the net like dvd torrents, game torrents, iso torrents, movie torrents, software torrents, etc.

So far, uTorrent 1.8 is the best torrent version ever. It's light and fast and there have been great improvements as far as features (such as the icon and user interface) and performance are concerned.

Even so, I know many users still wanted their u Torrent enhanced further that's why I'm posting this step-by-step procedure which I'm sure will be of help to you:

1. Open µTorrent 1.8.1 (if you don't have it yet, get it from utorrent com).

2. Go to Options/Preferences or click the Preferences icon.

3. In the General settings:

*Under Windows Integration:

Check "Check association on startup".

Uncheck to disable "Start µTorrent on system startup". This will improve your system startup speed.

*Under Privacy:

Check both "Check updates automatically" and "Send anonymous information when checking for updates".

Uncheck "Update to beta versions". I'm sure only a few wanted to be beta testers.

Under When Downloading:

Uncheck "Append .!ut to incomplete files".

Check both "Prevent standby if there are active torrents" and "Pre-allocate all files".

Click "Apply".

4. In Connection settings (this has greatly improved):

Check "Enable UPnP port mapping", "Enable NAT-PMP port mapping" and "Add Windows Firewall exception".

If you like extra security, check "Randomize port each start"; otherwise, uncheck.

Click "Apply".

5. In Bittorent settings:

* Under "Basic BitTorent Features:

Check all except "Limit local peer bandwidth".

Under Protocol Encryption:

In the "Outgoing" dropdown box, select "Enabled".

Check "Allow incoming legacy connections.

Click "Apply".

6. In the Advanced settings:

Find the "net.max_halfopen" entry and then click it.

In the "Value" box, replace the default value with 100, click "Set".

Click "Apply" and then OK to exit.

7. Now, in the lower part of the µTorrent window, find the box where the tick is located. A tick is the small icon which shows a green circle if your connection is good, yellow triangle if it's firewalled, and a red circle when your connection is blocked.

Click the tick and a new window will open.

In the "Connection Type" dropdown box, select your desired speed.

For Smartbro, PLDT MyDSL, Bayantel and Globe Broadband, recommendation is "xx-2Mbit".

Click "Use Selected Settings" and you're done.8. Exit uTorrent 1.8 and then re-open to use.

Fastest File Transfer - TeraCopy Software

Fastest File Transfer - TeraCopy Software

Large File Transfer might consume your a lot time. It delays your work and really waste you precious time. Anyways, I found this software and thought that it might be a lot helpful to share and so I am here to discuss on fastest file transfer software. TeraCopy is designed to copy and transfer files at the maximum possible speed. The second plus point of this program is that it provides the users different flexible and useful features.

TeraCopy has a buffer size which can be adjusted to reduce seek times and the asynchronous copy speeds up the file transfer system between two physical hard drives. It offers to pause or resume file transfer at any time and in case of errors, the program will give a number tries so that if the file transfer will work again, but in any case that it doesn’t, then it will skip the file.

TeraCopy has a very simple GUI which makes it user friendly. Lastly, TeraCopy is free but if you ever wanted to have more features for this program, then you’ll have to buy the Pro version. The Download Link is available at the bottom of the post.

Tips for Buying A New Laptop - Notebook Computer

Tips for Buying A New Laptop - Notebook Computer buy Guide

Do you want to buy a Laptop but don’t know how to, don’t worry we’ll help you out. Buying a new Laptops or Notebook Computers might get difficult for you if you are not familiar with them.

You first have to decide if all the latest technology is important for you?

Do you really need all new notebook technology? But first you have to figure out why you want a Laptop? Why are you buying it? What tasks you want to perform on your laptop?

I you want a Notebook just for web browsing and emailing then a laptop made few years before will suitable for you and it will also cost you less.

Tips for Buying A New Laptop - Notebook Computer buy Guide

So what do you need the laptop for?

Do you need a lightweight portable laptop for business trips or meetings? Or you want a student notebook for classes? Or just want to replace your desktop computer with a Notebook that you can easily move around in your home?

In my case, I want to replace my desktop that I could easily move around my home and take out infrequent trips or vacations. Long battery life was not a major issue as I would be using it while plugging into an electrical outlet. Besides, the laptop I want would be 7 or 8 pounds and I have no problem carrying my Notebook around over any great distance.

As I work as a Full time Graphic Designer too so I need a machine with a lot of RAM, a Multi Drive DVD and a wide screen display are also important for some Entertainment. On other hand High quality graphics and sound are also a need.

RAM

RAM or Random Access Memory is perhaps the most important factor to consider when buying your laptop or any computer. The speed of your laptop or computer is greatly determined by RAM.

You must have to make sure that you have enough RAM so that it can process your tasks and graphics rapidly. You can now find many laptops pre-loaded with 1 Gig of RAM and capable of upgrading to 4 Gigs or more.

Also to mention that if you are gaming fan, Video RAM will be important and you need a top line Graphics Card which will increase your laptop’s cost. I advise you to buy a laptop with upgradeable memory - since new applications, multi windowed browsers, streaming video...of the very near future may place high demand on your laptop's RAM.

Dual Core Processors

CPU is the heart of your laptop and in this case you have Two Hearts - Intel Centrino Duo is most common today. However, AMD is also giving some tough competition for Intel in the dual core battle by launching Athlon™ 64 X2 dual core processor. You can choose between both of them.

Hard Drive

A 100 or 120 Giga Byte hard drive in laptops is now common. But if you don’t want that much you can choose a small one. I recommend you to choose a SATA hard drive with a high 5400 or 7200 RPM (Revolutions per minute).

Tips for Buying A New Laptop - Notebook Computer buy Guide

Weight or Size

A common reason to buy laptop is due to its weight or size and portability – otherwise you can save your money by buying a Desktop PC. A laptop offers portability you can move it anywhere tucking under your arm and cart it to class or your next business meeting. It is ideal to carry your information and work along with you anywhere. This portability is the main
selling feature of a laptop.

You can pick up a Laptop’s according to your requirement. Laptops are divided into different categories, here's a quick overview:

Tablet PC (smallest) Size of a paper tablet or notepad, less than 3 pounds.

Ultra Portable (small) <11" x <10" Less than 1.3 inches thick, less than 4 pounds.

Thin and Light (mid-size) 11-14" x <11" 1 to 1.4 inches thick, from 5 to 7 pounds.

Desktop Replacements (largest) >13" x >11" More than 1.5 inches, more than 7 pounds and up.

Price

Well it totally depends on your pocket and requirement the more technology you add, more you have to pay.

Warranties

Don’t ignore this feature , you must confirm extended warranties, If you do a lot of traveling, you might need insurance against thief and loss.

Dead Pixel

If you want to check your laptop screen for dead pixels, just do a search for the free 'Dead Pixel Buddy' software program and run it to check your laptop for dead pixels.

Search For Laptops Over Internet

You must shop and search around and check out the consumer reports on the different laptop makers and the different laptop products. You must also check out the service records/reputation of the major brand names.

Make A List Of Features

Creating a list of minimum requirements for your Notebook might help you getting your hands on your desired laptop:

For Example:

Intel Duo

2 Gig of RAM

150 Gig Hard Drive

15 Inch Screen

4 or 5 Hours Battery Life

DVD Writer/Burner

A Full and Final Checkout

You must fully checkout your laptop before purchase. Check the comfort of your Laptop keyboard. Try the touchpad, is it responsive? Open your favorite programs and check the processing speed of your laptop. Bring along a DVD and sample the sound and graphics.

If you consider and check out the factors listed above then you can have a good laptop for you. So, Do a little homework and you will easily find the perfect laptop for you.

How To find Perfect Webhosting Service for Your website

Webhosting

It is very difficult to pick out a perfect Web hosting Service that works best for your with thousands of Web host out there. But, with a little effort, you can pick a good one.

Concentrate on you requirement

What is the aim of your website? What is the bandwidth and storage requirement? Do you need alot or can just do with little? Do you require email addresses on your domain? Or are you going to use any free email service? You also have to think about databases, and spam filters, and website builders?

Maintain a list of features that you will use on your website - this list will help you in choosing the perfect webhost. You can also include those features that you might want in future for your website in that list too.

What Kind of Proficiency regarding to this field you have?

Next, you'll want to determine what kind of user you are. Are you new to the Internet? If so, you must choose a 24/7 support. If you're a power user, and you can just do fine through email or ticket support. The more your knowledge, the less you'll require support from your web hosting company. But there must be a way to get in touch with your webhosting company. If you can't find contact information on a particular host's site then stay away from it.

You also have to make sure that your host responses you in time - waiting for a response email for two or three days is ridiculous. Make sure that your webhost offers a time guarantee for response somewhere on its site, before you go with them. If its not on the site, contact them check out the time of response from their side. Good host response within few hours - but maximum it can take a day.

Webhosting

Your Hosting Budget

How much you can spend on your account? Always check out the time your desired hosting service has been around. Like $1.45-a-month host may offer some really great value, but will they be there for you when you need them? Many of the low-priced website hosts are not earning much profit and as a result don't do business for long time - and don't stay in the market for much longer. To check and see how long your host has been around, enter their domain name here: www.networksolutions.com/whois/index.jhtml. The Registration Date field shows when the domain name was registered, so you can tell how long they've been around.

But it does not mean that every cheap web hosting follows the same way. Most of them have many happy clients and offer prices around the $6.95-a-month price point. And you can find good website hosts that offer service for $3.95-a-month or $4.95-a-month. But I don't recommend going for any cheap web hosting lower than that. .

Reliability

Your hosting service must be reliable and gives uptime guarantee. Many hosts have an uptime guarantee that is usually around 99.9%. What these uptime guarantees do cover are things like hardware failure and server operating system crashes. If you can't find specific uptime information on a host's website, contact them for the uptime information - if they do not provide that, move on to someone else.

Webhosting

Where to Search for a Host

Now you know the basics of how look for a good webhost, it's time to talk about where find one perfect for you. Man sites are available for this or you can also conduct a Google search for 'website host' or 'website host directory'. In addition, visit a forum such as regarding to webhosting discussion to see what other folks are saying about different website hosts.

Conclusion

The main thing is to pick a web host that works best for you and make you comfortable i.e, it must be reliable, in your budget, provides support on time.

Xbox - Xbox 360 Project Natal - "You" are the Controller

XboxYes, it's real. Now you'll be able to change a tire... virtually. At E3 today, Microsoft finally took the wraps off the that rumored motion controller we'd been hearing about. Apparently the small, black device -- codenamed "Natal" -- will allow for an astoundingly wide range of actions by utilizing a group of sensors (the box itself sits beneath your TV), and the accessory will be capable of juggling multiple users during a single session. The demo Microsoft showed off included a skateboarding game (replete with a young man "air" ollie-ing), and a family playing a racing game (the dad was changing a tire, the daughter driving).

The add-on will offer features such as auto sign-in for players to Xbox Live (based on complex facial recognition), and sports extremely detailed body tracking which will be able to follow the individual movements of separate limbs. During the press event, the company demoed a painting app, which lets you use your entire body to handle virtual painting supplies, allowing you to do things like throw buckets of paint onto a canvas. Another title was shown off which featured a woman interacting with a young boy on the screen -- one of the company's creepier demos in recent memory. Unfortunately for us, Microsoft says the device won't be released during 2009. We're working on snagging some face time (literally!) with a demo unit, so stay tuned... E3 is off to a wild start!

Computer Repair Tips

You only had experience with Windows operated computers, so this is what we referring to you. Computer repair specialists were always hard to find, and many times we had to try to figure out a solution to fix a computer which stopped working, because no specialist would come home, and to take a PC to the service company was extremely troublesome.
Computer Repair Tip 1: Defragment Often

The information on the hard disk is written in chunks called sectors. One application can spread across many such sectors, and if they are not next to each other, the head which reads the information on the hard disk has to make additional movements, thus increasing the reaction time of the computer, resulting in sluggish, slow launch of the respective application.

Computer Repair Tip 2: Clean Up Disk Errors

This is easy to do: on My Computer, select the drive you wish to clean up errors on, right-click on it, then select Properties. The first option from the second tab of the menu that opens is Check Disk. It won’t run, but you can schedule it to start next time when you’ll reboot your computer.

Computer Repair Tip 3: Remove Temporary Files

This is called the Disk Cleanup and you can find it in the same menu as in Computer Repair Tip no 2. It will free up some space on your hard drive, which is good, but the speed gain won’t be noticeable for human senses.

The only computer repair tip that worked perfectly each time, and offered me a fast system, at least for a couple of months was to reinstall Windows.

Victorinox s.beat MP3 Digital Media Player

MP3 players are getting more and more pervasive in our everyday life and also in our not-so-everyday life.

Victorinox has outdone itself by merging the well known Swiss Army knife with a MP3 player.
The s.beat, comes in 1GB and 2GB flavors, with a 4GB version in the works. There's support for MP3, WMA and--yet more surprises--OGG Vorbis, a voice recorder and FM radio with six presets. Of course, with a Swiss Army knife, you also get a knife, a pair of scissors, a nail file and a screwdriver, not to forget a remote control.

What's more, there's also a flight version if you are planning to take this gadget on a
holiday. The knife body can be easily removed from the device to be separately stored.

This device is definitely on my cool gadget list that is worth at least a second look, if not immediate purchase!
